About Dr. Hendricksen

Dr. Hendricksen began his career in 1973 after graduating from The Medical College of Virginia-School of Dentistry. After serving in the United States Army Dental Corps for two years, he decided to return to Virginia to establish a private practice. Dr. Hendricksen has built three dental facilities in Bedford County during his career, advancing dental technology with each new office. He is a member of the Lynchburg Dental Society, Piedmont Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and has served with Operation Smile in Kenya, Africa.

Continuing education is a lifelong commitment for Dr. Hendricksen and his professional staff. He has studied under world-class aesthetic dentists. Staff development through Linda Miles and Associates has given Dr. Hendricksen's staff opportunities to increase their skills, which is part of his vision for the advancement of dentistry in Central Virginia. His commitment to continuing education, compassion, and enthusiasm generate leadership qualities that influence and support his staff in serving their patients.
