Meet Dr. Ron Hendricksen
Dr. Hendricksen began his career in 1973 after graduating from The Medical College of Virginia-School of Dentistry. After serving in the United States Army Dental Corps for two years, he decided to return to Virginia to establish a private practice. Dr. Hendricksen has built three dental facilities in Bedford County during his career, advancing dental technology with each new office. He is a member of the Lynchburg Dental Society, Piedmont Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, and has served with Operation Smile in Kenya, Africa.
Continuing education is a lifelong commitment for Dr. Hendricksen and his professional staff. He has studied under world-class aesthetic dentists. His commitment to continuing education, compassion, and enthusiasm are leadership qualities that influence his staff in serving their patients.

Angela, Patient Coordinator
Angela is our patient coordinator and loves that her job gives her the opportunity to meet many new and exciting people that she otherwise wouldn’t have had the pleasure of knowing and working with.
Originally from Bedford, VA, Angela attended Liberty High School and Virginia Western Community College where she earned an A.S. in medical administration management. She currently lives in Blue Ridge with her husband, son and stepson. When she’s not at work, Angela enjoys reading, word games, spending time with family and baseball. Go Yankees!
Gabi, Clinical Assistant
Gabi entered dentistry 15 years ago. As our clinical assistant, she enjoys working with an awesome team and learning something new every day.
Gabi’s hometown is West Berlin, Germany. There she attended high school at Walter Gropius Gesamtschule and then studied at the University of Berlin. She has earned advanced certification in OSHA, CPR and radiation. Gabi is married and has four children and one grandchild. Her hobbies include working in the yard, cooking out, beach vacations, and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
Jennifer, Dental Hygienist
What Jennifer likes best about being a dental hygienist is the opportunity to change her patients’ overall health by educating them about oral health. And, of course, she loves developing personal relationships with her patients.
Originally from Lynchburg, Jennifer attended Virginia Western Community College. She has two dogs, Bentley and Ralphy, and her hobbies include fishing, hunting, water sports and spending time with family and friends.
Ruth, Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist, Ruth values the opportunity to serve patients with understanding, gentleness and a smile. She loves to watch patients learn to enjoy their dental experiences and become better informed about their oral health.
Originally from Forest, VA, Ruth went to high school at Jefferson Forest and studied at Virginia Western Community College. Her family includes one sister, three dogs, two cats and two horses. Recently, she has begun to renovate and restore old homes and loves this hobby. She also enjoys hiking, wakeboarding, and snow skiing, horseback riding and bible study.
Kim, Dental Hygienist
Kim has logged more than 30 years in dentistry and has been working in our practice since 2006. When asked what she likes best about her job, Kim simply answered, “awesome patients!” A native of Forest, VA, Kim attended Jefferson Forest High School and Virginia Western Community College.
She is married with two grown children. Kim’s hobbies include camping, boating, spending time with family and friends and renovating and restoring old homes.
